Volunteering when I was younger helped me to learn new skills which have been really useful throughout uni and previous jobs. I got to go to India this Summer for 10 weeks for free. As well as living and volunteering in the Himalayas, I got to visit some amazing places in my spare time, such as the Taj Mahal, hot springs and the Golden Temple in Amritsar.
