vInvolved Liverpool has five full time staff members and four volunteers all working hard to bring you the best volunteering opportunites. We asked them a few questions to let you get to know them a bit better.

Who's the best famous scouser? Derek Acorah

What have you got out of volunteering? Volunteering when I was younger helped me to learn new skills which have been really  useful throughout uni and previous jobs. Volunteering in Liverpool throughout university helped me to decide what kind of job I wanted and I am sure my voluntary experience helped me to get this job!

What have you got out of volunteering? I’ve been able to get involved in my local community. I’ve gained new skills along the way and made new friends.... but most of all I’ve had fun!

What have you got out of volunteering?I have definitely learnt some new skills, met some lovely people and it gives me a great feeling when I can see that I am making a difference to someone’s life.

Who's the best famous scouser? Margi Clark

What have you got out of volunteering? I got to go to India this Summer for 10 weeks for free. As well as living and volunteering in the Himalayas, I got to visit some amazing places in my spare time, such as the Taj Mahal, hot springs and the Golden Temple in Amritsar.  I didn’t have any experience particularly in web development; however, the team is very helpful and friendly to get into the role.
